Marine Propulsion Solutions – Hydraulic Power Systems represents a full range of submersible electric hydraulic power units. These robust HPU’s reflect demanding needs on submerged intervention spreads and hydraulic propulsion systems. A wide range of variable displacement pumps and regulator options allow tight adaption to application specific requirements.

The model range spans over 6 classes of HPU’s which range from 18 up to 400 Kw shaft output power. All motors are 4-pole, 3 phases AC operating at 50/60 Hz. operating voltages range from 400 Vac to 3.3 kV.

The units operate oil filled and compensated to ambient pressure. The housing is made from machined and anodized aluminum 6082T6. Fasteners, fittings and connectors are made from AISI316 stainless steel.

The units are configured with internal PT100 sensors for temperature measurements and water ingress sensor. Signal interface is by Burton 5506-2004 as standard.

Power connection is by Burton 5536-3204 connector as standard….. Oil filled hose can be provided for higher power units.

The HPU’s utilize the Parker™ PV plus series of pumps as standard (Rexroth Optional).

This provides an extensive flexibility in displacement options and control configurations throughout the entire range of HPU’s.

Single or dual pumps can be delivered as required. Regulator options cover remote differential pressure, load sense, cut off pressure regulators and power limiters in many combinations.

Units are available with Induction type motors and for the smaller HPU’s we can offer PM units for higher efficiency, higher P.F. and small compact units.
